With grateful hearts, we celebrated the women who lead us closer to Christ — our Blessed Mother and our Everest moms… and honored and prayed for our Pope!

Thirty years ago, the families who founded Everest Academy made a pilgrimage to the same Carmelite monastery that we visited on Tuesday. How fitting that this place was chosen to mark our 30th anniversary year! From stunning grottos to quiet moments of reflection, it was a beautiful way to show our love for God and a reminder of God’s love for us.

Our 8th graders prayerfully brought the Stations of the Cross to life through their reverent portrayal of the Living Stations. We thank the Class of 2026 for helping our community enter more deeply into Christ’s Passion as we begin the Sacred Triduum.

As we enter into Holy Week, may we deepen our faith and draw closer to Jesus. May God grant us the strength and perseverance to finish our Lenten journey strong!

We were proud to induct the inaugural class of Everest Academy’s National Junior Honor Society this week. These students were recognized for their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Congratulations to our new members as they continue to lead by example in our school community!

During assembly, we kicked off our countdown to our Fun Run, happening next Friday, March 13th. Thank you to the parents who are adding to the fun by decorating classroom doors. We are so grateful for your creativity and support! And thank you to the families who have already secured pledges and earned the privilege of wearing PJs today. The excitement is building!

I am always moved by our students’ reverent participation in the Stations of the Cross during Lent. From singing the Stabat Mater to kneeling at the Tenth Station, they beautifully demonstrate their piety and love for Jesus. All are welcome to join us next Friday, March 6th at 2:30pm in the gym.

Marked with ashes and united in prayer, our Everest community began Lent together, turning our hearts to the Lord and preparing for a season of deeper faith, sacrifice, and love. Receiving a resounding sung Stolat, Fr. Greg also got a taste of what it is like to have your birthday celebrated at Everest!

Between the Spelling Bee, 100th Day celebrations and Valentine’s parties, it was another joyful week at Everest!

Enjoy these pictures from the second half of Catholic Schools Week. Our annual Eucharistic procession continues to be a meaningful and much-loved tradition. Thank you to Fr. Andrew for making adoration so special! Thank you to the teachers and parents who worked together to make Student Appreciation Day unforgettable. Congratulations to the 7th graders for winning the hockey tournament, narrowly beating the 5th-grade class in a thrilling shoot-off! Congratulations to the 4th Grade class for being awarded the GOAT award for their outstanding school spirit!

From competing in science fair to celebrating our diversity to blessing our teachers to welcoming K-9 heroes, Catholic Schools Week has been full of faith, fun, community, and unforgettable moments!

We had 2 home games this week. I am so proud of the hard work I saw on the court and the heart with which our teams played! I hope you can come out and support our Knights at our next home game on February 2nd. Your support makes a difference!

No Principal Pics this week.
A joyful celebration of Christ’s birth—our students sharing the Good News with confidence, faith, and Christmas joy.

Enjoy just a few snapshots of Advent at Everest where we are preparing our hearts through prayer, service, and cherished school traditions.

We were grateful to welcome Fr. Michael back on Monday. His presence at our All-School Mass—and his visit with students throughout the day—made it feel like old times. I’m sure you enjoyed seeing him at car line as well!

Our students had an inspiring week connecting with seminarians from the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, Connecticut, as well as local Franciscan Sisters of Christ the King and a Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi for National Vocation Awareness Week! Thank you to the Legionary brothers, Sisters Marjorie and Jimene, and Catherine Macora for sharing your love of Jesus with our students!

All Saints Day is one of my favorite events of the year. Seeing our students dressed as saints and celebrating all day gives me great hope that one day I will be celebrating with them in heaven as true saints! Thank you to all who helped our students to shine as their saint!

Many thanks to our Lady Knights for showing true fighting spirit this weekend! They may not have won, but they embodied our virtue of the month—fortitude—playing with heart and perseverance until the very last point! Congratulations to Vera Lambert for being named Tri-County Catholic Conference All-Conference for the 2025 volleyball season!

May God bless our grandparents - for their prayers, for their faith, and for the love that continues to bless our students and our school.

Fr. Andrew blesses our athletes, reminding them to compete with courage, grace, and sportsmanship. Playoff season is here — let’s pack the stands and show our teams what Knight spirit looks like!

1–2. Patriot Day was a beautiful celebration of our country and those who serve and protect!
3–5. Picture Day—all smiles!
