At Everest Academy, our teachers do more than instruct—they inspire, guide, and nurture the hearts and minds of our students. This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on a beloved member of our faculty: Ms. Reznicek, who brings a beautiful blend of creativity, faith, and passion to everything she does.
Ms. Reznicek joined the Everest Academy family in 2020, beginning her journey as a Teacher’s Assistant. It didn’t take long for her enthusiasm and talent to shine through. Today, she serves as our Art Teacher and Catholic Formation instructor for both sixth and third grade students—a dual role that reflects her unique academic background and her love for teaching.
A 2019 graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theology, Ms. Reznicek spent a year as the Communications Assistant for Illinois Right to Life before discerning a call to education. Since stepping into the classroom, she has embraced the opportunity to share her two great passions: art and her Catholic faith.
Whether she’s guiding students through a watercolor landscape or leading a lesson on the saints, Ms. Reznicek brings joy, depth, and purpose to her teaching. Her lessons are more than informative—they’re transformative, helping students to grow not only as learners but as individuals rooted in truth, beauty, and goodness.
Outside of school, Ms. Reznicek continues to live her faith actively as a volunteer catechist at St. John the Baptist Parish. When she’s not in the classroom or parish hall, you’ll likely find her outdoors, enjoying her favorite pastimes of hiking, camping, and creating art in her free time.
Ms. Reznicek’s presence at Everest is a gift. Her dedication to our mission, her love for her students, and her creative spirit are just a few of the reasons why we’re so grateful to have her on our team.
Thank you, Ms. Reznicek, for all you do to make Everest a place where faith and imagination flourish!
