At Everest Academy, we are blessed to have educators who bring not only knowledge and experience to the classroom, but also heart, passion, and faith. One such teacher is Mrs. Paulius, whose inspiring journey and dedication to her students make her a cherished part of our Everest community.
Born and raised in Germany, Mrs. Paulius brings a rich cultural and educational background to her teaching. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has spent many years teaching across different levels, age groups, and subjects — both in her native Germany and here in the United States. Her international perspective and deep understanding of diverse learning environments enrich every classroom she enters.
While her academic experience spans core subjects like reading, writing, and arithmetic, Mrs. Paulius also has a strong background in faith-based education. For ten years, she taught Religious Education at St. Alphonsus in Lemont, nurturing students not only in their understanding of the Catholic faith but also in the values of compassion, kindness, and service.
For Mrs. Paulius, teaching is not just a career — it’s a calling. She describes it as her “passion and joy,” and that joy is felt in the classroom each day. At Everest Academy, she thrives in an environment where academic excellence and spiritual growth go hand in hand. Her love for teaching and her students is evident in every lesson, every interaction, and every smile.
Her educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that each child is unique and filled with potential. Her goal is to support each student’s individual strengths while guiding them in the four pillars of integral formation — intellectual, spiritual, human, and apostolic. In doing so, she helps form not only capable learners but well-rounded individuals who are prepared to lead with faith and integrity.
We are grateful for the gift of Mrs. Paulius — for her wisdom, her warmth, and her unwavering commitment to our mission at Everest Academy. Through her example, our students are not only taught — they are inspired.
