Sacramental Life at Everest

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the school's chapel.  Students are encouraged to visit the chapel to meet and speak with Jesus. Adoration every Thursday.

First Holy Communion

The Sacrament of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. At Everest Academy, students prepare to receive their First Holy Communion through focused catechesis, prayer, and family involvement. This milestone invites children into deeper union with Christ and participation in the life of the Church.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation deepens our relationship with Christ and strengthens our disposition to live a life of virtue and love.  It is available daily on request and weekly. Each class can participate in the sacrament of confession once per month.

Confirmation

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, students receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to live out their faith with courage and conviction. At Everest Academy, our preparation program encourages spiritual growth, service, and a deeper commitment to Christ and His Church.

As a Roman Catholic school, Everest Academy aims to help students grow in their spiritual life. We offer solid instruction on Catholic faith and morals, opportunities for confession, daily reception of the Eucharist, and special all-school Masses.

Our students also learn the basics of prayer and grow in their personal relationship with Christ, benefiting from the closeness of the Legionary chaplain and the faith-filled witness of their teachers.

As the “source and summit of the Christian life,” the Celebration of the Eucharist is a central part of school life at Everest Academy. Students are encouraged to participate in various aspects of the Mass. This active participation helps young people live out this sacred mystery and grow in faith.

Fr. Andrew holds class masses every day except Monday. All-school Masses are held every Friday at 8:10 a.m., as well as on feast days and other special occasions.
