Thy Kingdom Come!

Dear Everest Parents,

Hope gives us the strength to firmly trust that God will give us the endless happiness of Heaven and the means to obtain it, providing we do what He requires of us.

This past week we held two events that reflect this month’s virtue of hope.

Last Thursday, our 5th-8th grade girls and their mothers gathered for a confidence night where they were reminded to align the way they think about themselves with the way God thinks about them. Thank you to Mrs. Wodka, our middle school formation coordinator for organizing this special evening to help our girls strengthen their self-image and resilience.

Yesterday, through their presentation of the Living Rosary, our 7th graders invited us to reflect on the glorious mysteries. This beautiful prayer helps us to draw closer to Jesus and Mary by meditating on the great mysteries of our salvation. When we pray, we demonstrate our trust in God’s protection and faithfulness, allowing our hope in God’s providence to grow. Thank you to Mr. Purpura for preparing our 7th graders for their presentation.

Our Blessed Mother Mary shows us what it means to hope in God. May we follow the example of her faithfulness and docility, and so place our complete trust in Him.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

In Christ’s peace,
