Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Everest Parents,
This past weekend, we officially wrapped up the basketball season. Congratulations to our student-athletes on a fantastic season! You represented Everest Academy with pride. A special shoutout to our 8th graders, Adam Wodka and Ella Kaplan, who were selected by league coaches for the Tri-County Catholic All-Conference Teams.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and parents who served as coaches. Your time, effort, and commitment are truly appreciated!
- Boys 4-5: Mrs. Beth Wodka
- Boys 6: Mr. Michael Collins
- Boys 7-8: Mr. Nick Murasaki
- Girls 6-8: Mr. Josh Lambert
I would also like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Collins for making our home games extra special with fun shooting and trivia games. If you are interested in helping with our athletics program, please let me know—I’d love to build on the great foundation he has started this year!
Looking ahead, our Shamrock Shuffle is this Saturday, March 15th! Since we met our participation goal, students may dress in green next Monday to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Additionally, students who participate in the Shamrock Shuffle may wear their event shirt to school next Thursday.
Next Friday, March 21st, we will honor our Everest fathers with Mass, followed by donuts with dads and friendly family competitions. If Dad is unable to attend, a grandfather, godfather, uncle, or family friend is welcome to join in his place.
I pray your Lenten journey is going well. All are welcome to join us every Wednesday at 1:30 PM for Stations of the Cross. Please save the date for these Holy Week Traditions:
- April 15 | 7 PM – Living Stations
- April 16 | 1 PM – Living Stations
- April 17 | Holy Thursday – Seven Church Pilgrimage
- April 18 | Good Friday – Crosswalk
- April 19 | Holy Saturday – Mercy Missions
May God continue to bless you and your families during this sacred season.
In Christ’s peace,
Candy Hamilton
