Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Everest Parents,
I am excited to announce that we have updated our class schedules to better support student learning and development. This new schedule provides uninterrupted blocks for reading and math in K-2, increases math instructional minutes, improves resource teacher availability to support students, and allows for better student supervision during recess. Additionally, middle school students will have dedicated time to meet with their homeroom teachers or formation team to work on their personal growth plans.
A few reminders of upcoming events:
- Next week, we hope that you will come out to cheer on our Knights at our Home Basketball Games for our 4th/5th Boys, 6th Boys, 7th/8th Boys, and 5th-8th Girls teams on Wednesday, January 22nd. The theme is Whiteout! Come pack the stands dressed in white!
- Please help us promote our annual WinterFest and Open House on Sunday, January 26th 11:00am-2:00pm. This event begins with Mass and activities include sleigh rides, food trucks, magic show, demonstrations of upcoming after school activities, as well as tours for prospective families. RSVP here and invite your family and friends to come check out Everest. And if someone you refer enrolls next year, you and they will receive a $500 tuition discount!
- Catholic Schools Week is the week of January 27-31. Be sure to check out the special dress code for each day and help us celebrate as a faith community.
