Thy Kingdom Come!

Dear Everest Parents,

Walking the halls, it is exciting to see our students getting into the Christmas spirit as they decorate their doors and classrooms, bring gifts for the Giving tree, and sing the carols they will perform next week. And it isn’t just our students! Last week, an Everest grandparent surprised our students by dressing as St. Nicholas and handing out generous gifts.

Congratulations to our preschoolers who performed beautifully at Breakfast in Bethlehem under the direction of our dedicated preschool teachers led by Ms. Bischoff and Ms. Akroush. Thank you to the many parents who supported the program by donating costumes, decorations, and food.

During this winter season, when weather-related disruptions can impact our school schedule, we are pleased to announce a new text messaging service through our FACTS student information system. This enhanced communication tool allows us to quickly and efficiently notify you of urgent updates such as late starts, early dismissals, or school cancellations due to adverse weather. Please ensure that your contact information is up-to-date in our system so that you may receive important school alerts and messages.

As we journey through Advent, we are reminded of the season’s call to prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming with joy and generosity. Yesterday, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, remembering her message of hope and compassion. May her intercession guide us to be bearers of Christ’s love in our school community and beyond.

In Christ’s peace,

Candy Hamilton Cocosign

Principal
