Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Everest Parents,
Alleluia! Christ is risen! Happy and blessed Easter! I hope that you and your family enjoyed your Easter celebrations.
Next week, our students will be taking the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) tests. These assessments help us understand each child’s academic growth. You can support your children by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Please encourage them to do their best, take their time, and approach the test with a positive attitude. Your support at home makes a big difference!
This weekend is our biggest fundraiser of the year—our Always Higher Annual Benefit Gala! If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, I invite you to join us for a wonderful evening in support of our school community. The gala committee has planned some fun games to go along with our Kentucky Derby theme. This year’s fund-a-cause will directly benefit our dedicated teachers and provide much-needed tuition assistance for families. Even if you’re unable to attend, we ask for your continued prayers for the success of the event and the mission it supports. While you must be present to bid on live auction items, if you would like to bid on the silent auction class projects or donate to the fund-a-cause, please follow this link to register: https://qtego.us/qlink/everestgala
Next Friday, we will be honoring our Blessed Mother and our Everest Mothers. Please join us for a school Marian procession and Crowning of Mary at our grotto, immediately followed by our Mothers’ Tribute Mass. As a reminder, students should bring a flower to be placed in their class vase at the grotto. The flowers may come from your garden or be store-bought. After dismissal, you are welcome to help arrange the cut flowers for classroom shrines and the chapel, or plant potted flowers in our flower beds.
Thank you to all those who are praying Memorares for our students – past, present, and future. We are more than halfway toward our goal of 5,000! See the newsletter for details on how you can add your prayers to our Memorare Meter.
May the peace of Christ and joy of the Resurrection be with you and your loved one!

- Thank you to Fr. Michael for leading our Holy Thursday 7 Church Pilgrimage and to Fr. Jason who led our Good Friday CrossWalk. Both events were meaningful ways for participants to experience and accompany Our Lord in His passion. I felt privileged to offer prayers for the intentions that our students submitted as I walked.
