A Passion for Youth Ministry
From the very beginning of his ministry, Fr. Michael has had a heart for working with young people. His first six years as a priest were spent as the chaplain of Northwoods Catholic School in Spring, TX, where he provided spiritual guidance and support to students, helping them deepen their faith and grow into strong Christian leaders.
Beyond his work in Catholic education, Fr. Michael also dedicated six years to the national ECYD youth team, an organization within Regnum Christi that focuses on the faith formation of adolescents. His role allowed him to mentor and inspire countless young men, helping them navigate their faith journeys during the formative years of their lives.
A Commitment to Formation and Mentorship
With over 20 years in the Legion of Christ, Fr. Michael has focused much of his ministry on mentoring adolescent boys and their families. His approach emphasizes the importance of faith, character formation, and a personal relationship with Christ. Through retreats, spiritual direction, and one-on-one mentoring, he has helped many young people develop a deeper understanding of their faith and their call to holiness.
