This fall marks a major milestone for Everest Academy as the school joyfully celebrates 30 years of Catholic education, academic excellence, and faith formation. On September 8, 2025, Everest Academy will commemorate three decades of serving families in Lemont and the surrounding communities with a special celebration honoring its rich history and bright future.
Founded in 1995, Everest Academy has grown from a small school with a big mission into a thriving community rooted in the Catholic faith, dedicated to developing the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. Over the years, Everest has shaped generations of students into leaders of virtue, service, and character.
“This anniversary is not just a celebration of our past,” said Mary Tellefsen, Executive Director of Everest Academy. “It’s a celebration of the families, faculty, and faithful supporters who have made Everest a place where children grow in faith and love of learning. We look forward to continuing this mission for many years to come.”
Special events and activities are planned throughout the school year, beginning with a school-wide Mass and celebration on the Feast of the Nativity of Mary, September 8 — a fitting date for a school devoted to Our Blessed Mother.
Everest Academy invites all current families, alumni, and friends of the school to join in giving thanks for 30 incredible years of blessings. All are welcome to celebrate this momentous occasion on September 8 at 1:30pm for Mass.
