Athletics

At Everest Academy, athletics are a school of teamwork, discipline, fortitude, charity, and honesty— an important complement to the academic and extracurricular program.

Fall sports are ready to start with basketball and volleyball as participants in the Parish Athletic League (PAL).

• The volleyball team will be coached again this year by Ms. Carmody, our second grade teacher.  Girls from 5^th – 8^th grade are encouraged to participate. 
• The basketball team for 5^th-8^th grade boys will be coached again this year by Dr. Peter Diamond.  Last year the basketball team came in 2^nd place with an outstanding year.
