About Everest

Everest Academy began with a group of families who wanted to give their children a solidly Catholic education. From its first years as an elementary school offering classes in a family home, the school expanded into a full pre-K3 through 8th grade program on a temporary campus. Its growth eventually required the construction of a brand new building on a 32-acre site at 11550 Bell Road, Lemont, IL. As Everest Academy continues to grow, we will see further exciting developments to the benefit of both students and families.

Everest Academy implements the Integral Formation® method of education developed by the Legionaries of Christ and is part of an international network of 175 schools. The advantage of belonging to such a network is that we are not working on our own, but are part of a larger group of sister schools sharing the same values and ideals.
